Here is a couple of shots of me just hanging out. The hair is going to need some attention before Christmas!

There is definitely something going on!

The word at Nursery is that the Christmas thing is a big deal. Apparently you've got to go see this guy called Santa and tell him you've been good then a while later (around 25/12) he drops by and delivers a bunch of toys if you've been good!

Since I got wind of this I've made sure that I sleep all through the night (from 7pm to 6am regularly now!), I eat all my food (like a woman possessed) and don't even make a fuss when I cut a new tooth (number five came through this week).

I then got Dad to take me to see Santa when he came to the church around the corner. He seemed like a pretty decent bloke although that beard is a bit out of control. Here I am having a word with the big man.

Now, if this works properly dad should have uploaded a quick film of me raiding the toy box. As ususal, I'm all giggles and enjoy bashing my toys together! Pretty much everything that I pick up goes into my mouth (most of it I spit back out though!)

So, by way of an update, I've mastered is whole bottle thing. I just need mum or dad to warm it up in the microwave for me!

I'm not quite crawling yet, but can manage a pretty good commando crawl. I can also roll accross a room if I fancy.

Today I pulled myself up on the sofa and got into a standing position, I was so happy I fell over backwards! (Dad caught me).

HELP! HELP!

Granny Janny is abducting me! Shes hidden me in her basket

MMMMMMM! More teeth coming through means more Bonjella! .. . . tasty!

Of course more teeth means you take your chances if you put your fingers in my mouth!

Here I am having a paddle in a bucket. Perfect size and it beats a paddling pool any day

The other photo is an 'arty' shot with dad on his back holding me up in the air. If I can get it right I can dribble on his head!!

This is me with Great Aunties Tosh and Eidith when mum and I went up to Newcastle to visit last weekend, We had a lovely relaxing time and it was great to catch up.

Well, well, well. It's still pretty hectic around here at the moment. This is me bombing around on the back of Dads bike in my new seat. Dad does the pedalling as my feet won't reach yet - frankly though Dad goes a worrying shade of red when he gets going so I'm pretty keen to stay on the back!

Check this out! Granny Shelia came down to Manchester last week, to help out with getting me started at nursery.

She took me to the park and we went shopping. It was good to see her, especially as I got this great new toy!

School is cool, although I think mum and dad are concerned that I'm not missing them enough.

Haven't written for a while as Mum and Dad took me away for the week to Tenby. I was swimming every day and spent time on the beach. We've got some underwater photos, but will have to wait whilst they are processed. We also went to a farm where the goats chewed my blanket and a clown made me this balloon dog.

Today, it was chewing on Grannys finger when a puzzelled look came accross her face. After a bit of rumaging, mum confirmed that I've cut my first tooth! (bottom left). Wey hey! bring on the tooth fairy, all I've got to do is wait for it to fall out and....... ka-ching!

Tuesday, 31 July 2007

This is my cousin Lucy. We were having tickle fights here. I'm afraid to say that she was winning, but just wait until I'm bigger!

Mum, Dad and Auntie Karen took us all for a camping trip last week. We got two good days of sun and then the heavens opened. Dad had to get a new tent to fit us all in.

Since starting solids I've been exploring my surroundings. Recently I've mostly been trying the sea (salty), sand (gritty), mud (squidgy) and my cousins (fleshy). None yet beat mums apple, mango and apricot puree (yummy).

Sunday, 8 July 2007

I also love apple puree, pear puree and todays special carrot puree. I can take or leave the baby rice though (tastes like wet bog paper!).

Mum took me to the neighbours birthday party today which was cool.

I've also been picking up a few ideas for my first word this afternoon, when I heard Dad swearing at the lawn mower!

Mums sling is very snug and cosy for nipping to the shops in the rain. I get a great view of whats going on at the same time.

Its been a pretty busy fortnight since I last wrote. Granny and Papa 'dropped in' on us, when their flight got diverted to Manchester Airport. I've been swimming underwater again with Dad (photos to follow) and generally letting my hair down with my mates at play group with mum.

So many buttons, so little time.

In some lights Dad looks sssooooo grey!

I bought him some anti-wrinkle cream for his birthday (today), so he can get to work on those crows feet!

We had Granny Janny and Jim to stay over this weekend. It was also Fathersday (parents can be expensive!).

I'm currently a big fan of mums 'house white' and at the last weigh-in came in at 11lb 8oz. The trouble with nappies is that your bum looks big in everything!

Mum took me to the Aquarium the last week. All the fish were much bigger than mine (Nemo). I think I might be a Marine Biologist when I grow up!

Well its been a busy couple of weeks since I last put a post on the blog. I've been up to Scotland to help Auntie Karen paint her new conservatory, and catch up with the family. Here are a few photos of the gang.

You can see the family resemblance! This is Granny and Nana. It won't be long before I can play that piano!

Ta ta for now!

Mum and Dad have just made a shrewd investment of £2.99 in a dummy. Its funny but the house seems a much calmer and quieter place since.

Heres me with a new bandana. I saw Babs (my Aunties Dog) with one and though it rather fetching!

Tuesday, 22 May 2007

This is Barney, my dog. He's got big teeth, but I'm teaching him who is the boss.
I went to swimming class at the weekend with Dad. I managed three seconds under the water. You should have seen Dad's face when I came back up!

Sunday, 13 May 2007

I went up to Bentham this weekend to see my Grandad (his whiskers tickle). It was his 50th Birthday so we went out for a slap up dinner. Finally, I find someone with less hair than me!

Thursday, 10 May 2007

This is me and my Great Grandma Stringer (Dads, Mum's Mum). It was Mothers Day, so I managed to do three generations in one day (multi-tasking is a doddle!).

Wednesday, 9 May 2007

Mum bought me a new toy the other day, its pretty cool, but tastes of plastic.

The big teddy was from my Grandad, and was good company on my first night in my new cot.

Tuesday, 1 May 2007

Dad, I think I just filled my nappy!

Say 'AAAHHH!!'

Saturday, 28 April 2007

Sometimes mum takes her fashion ques from me!

Thursday, 26 April 2007

Dad, me and Granny Janney.

I was having an 'off day' but you can see where I get my blues eyes from!

This is my Auntie Ellie on a recent visit to my house.
Her top clashes with my dress, but I like her style!

I've just had my first holiday in Scotland. We went to Crieff with my cousins, Stuart, Jessica and Lucy. Here are Stuart and Jessica, they're pretty cool.

This is me hanging out with the Clan in Scotland.

Mum, Dad and Me

Mum, Dad and me before going home for the first time.

First go on the Web

Phew, its only been 11 weeks but already I feel like part of the family. I've been on two planes (to Inverness and Exeter), one holiday, a 40th birthday party, a wedding and lots of weekend trips to see friends and relatives. I must say its all a bit hectic, but I'm looking forward to a hot sunny summer and having lots of people to stay over.

Thats all for now.

Love Isabelle
